Olga Wenham-Baker and pupils from South Brent Primary School had fun naming farmyard animals in German when eight youngsters from the after-school German club enjoyed a field trip to Pennywell Farm, Buckfastleigh.

Children have been learning the different names of farm animals during lessons and put their knowledge to the test. 'It brought everything to life for the children.' said Olga. Pupils also got to see the new piglets and chicks and were allowed to feed the lambs.

Olga runs the after-school club which is held on Thursdays, and has been running for two years for pupils in Key Stage 2.
