Olga Wenham-Baker, BA(Hons), PGCE, based in Ivybridge, is a qualified language teacher,
who has extensive teaching experience in the private, school and commercial sectors.
She believes that presenting the student with a cultural awareness adds value to the learning experience, but also has a friendly and light-hearted approach to the subject,
reassuring students, while ensuring that their learning experience is effective and thoroughly enjoyable. Students are assessed at the beginning of their course and at the end there will be a measured outcome
of his/her improvement.
 In the South Hams, Olga has made after-school German language clubs
in Primary Schools very popular, the pupils having fun while they learn, and are able to easily
grasp the basics of the language. By the year 2010 Primary Schools will have to include a foreign language
in their curriculum.
Tuition is provided for those wishing to learn German, or for overseas students, English, with intensive lessons
for students or business people who can also stay in the home of the tutor/host when they wish to have a few
study days away from their own environment.
